NETMA give go ahead for delivery of the EJ200-03A.

NETMA today gave EuroJet the go ahead for delivery of the EJ200-03A. This is the production ready version of the engine. Bench tests have shown it to operate above the current maximum afterburn thrust requirement. The Alenia DA3 is to be taken out of service in preparation for a retrofit of these new engines.

DA2 taken out of service for maintenance and upgrades.

BAe DA2 is taken out of service for maintenance and upgrades. These include preparations and software for phase three of the flight expansion trials (carefree handling, refuelling, etc.). The updates include the fitting of a spin recovery parachute and gantry.
